Like welcoming an old friend

Sunlight captured on a sunflower in my kitchen  I stumbled upon my blog from over 10 years ago recently, what a ride that was. It's fascinating to see a snapshot of the person I used to be, what I believed in, spoke about, gave a voice to. Seeing what resonated with me then, and what still holds true today.  Some ideals and ideas I have left behind, some I still live by. One thing I do believe was valuable was the documentation, and it's something I think I'd like to do again. Maybe with a bit more privacy in mind (hindsight), but still documenting my days, thoughts and feelings. I also liked my format, but I'll try and use my own photos on posts - It'll help me get back into photography a bit more which will be nice. It's a hobby I haven't really nurtured since my early twenties.  So there we go, nothing too long, nothing to short. Hopefully like Goldilocks, it was just right.
